HCA Healthcare announced that Dan Miller has been named president of the East Florida Division, succeeding Charles Gressle, who has been appointed president of HCA Healthcare’s newly formed Ambulatory Operations Group.
Miller currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Methodist Healthcare
System, a 50/50 partnership between the Methodist Healthcare Ministries and HCA
Healthcare, in San Antonio, TX. He was appointed president of Methodist Healthcare in 2023. Before assuming leadership of Methodist Healthcare, Miller served as chief executive officer of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital. Earlier in his career, Miller served as chief executive officer of HCA HealthONE Aurora and chief operating officer of HCA HealthONE Swedish, both in Colorado.
Miller earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and holds a master’s degree in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
