HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of surgical oncologist Omar H. Llaguna, MD, FACS, FSSO. In his role, Dr. Llaguna will serve as medical director of surgical oncology.
Dr. Llaguna earned his medical degree with high honors from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery training at Maimonides Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He subsequently completed a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, Dr. Llaguna served as a surgical oncologist and Medical Director of the Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Program at Memorial Healthcare System.
