HCA Florida Memorial Hospital announced today that James Perez has been named Vice President of Human Resources, effective September 28, 2026.

Perez joins the hospital from HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, where he has served as Vice President of Human Resources for the past three years and has been an instrumental member of the hospital’s leadership team. 

During his tenure at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, Perez distinguished himself as a trusted partner to leaders, a strong advocate for colleagues and a driving force in strengthening organizational culture. Under his leadership, the hospital achieved meaningful improvements in colleague retention and engagement, including decreased turnover and increased employee engagement.
