he University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and UHealth—University of Miami Health System are welcoming an internationally recognized leader in interventional oncology as Stephen Solomon, M.D., joins as chair of the Department of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Solomon comes to UHealth and the Miller School from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he served as chief of interventional radiology, held the Enid A. Haupt Endowed Chair in Clinical Investigation and was professor of radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. Over the course of his career, he built an international reputation for advancing minimally invasive, image-guided therapies and helped define the field of interventional radiology.
