October 7, 2026— Lutheran Services of Florida (LSF) has appointed Veronica Ellsworth as clinical director at Lippman Youth Shelter. She will oversee all regional clinical programs in support of LSF’s mission, including the management of clinical staff, licensing, budgets, programming, data collection, growth and development.

“Veronica’s broad experience in social work with both children and families makes her a very valuable addition to the Lippman team,” said Lisa Skirving, shelter manager. “With her expertise and skill set, we will continue to strive toward LSF’s mission of creating safe children, strong families and vibrant communities.”

Ellsworth is a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and New York with over 20 years of experience across outpatient, residential, forensic, juvenile justice, psychiatric and addiction treatment. Prior to joining Lippman, Ellsworth served as a primary therapist at The Recovery Team and as a family therapist at Life Skills Outpatient South Florida, both located in Delray Beach, where she provided clinical assessment and individualized treatment, facilitated group therapy and administered clinical documentation.

She earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Mercy College in New York, now known as Mercy University.
