OCTOBER 14, 2026 — Now entering its 15th year, the Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot will return to Las Olas Oceanside Park on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026. Presented by Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute, the 5K has grown into one of Broward County’s most anticipated Thanksgiving morning traditions.
Runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels are invited to follow a scenic course along A1A and Fort Lauderdale Beach. Beyond the finish line, the event brings families, friends and neighbors together to stay active while supporting organizations making a difference across Broward County.

Last year marked a record-breaking year for the Turkey Trot, drawing more than 4,500 attendees and selling out at 4,000 registered participants. With support from 25 sponsors, the event raised $181,226.26 for Broward Health Foundation and Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc., the highest amount raised in a single year since the event began.
Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute’s long-standing role as title sponsor reflects a shared commitment to health and community that has kept Memorial connected to the event year after year.
“Having participated in the Turkey Trot for many years, I have seen firsthand how this event brings families, friends and neighbors together in the spirit of health and community,” said Ralph Levy, MD, Chief of Adult Cardiac Medical Services at Memorial Healthcare System. “Memorial and I are proud to continue supporting this tradition, which encourages people of all ages to stay active while making a positive impact in our community.”
Since 1953, Memorial Healthcare System has been a leader in providing high-quality healthcare services to South Florida residents. One of the largest public healthcare systems in the nation, Memorial is recognized for its patient- and family-centered care and commitment to improving the health of the communities it serves.
Proceeds from the 2026 event will benefit Broward Health Foundation and Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc., extending the Turkey Trot’s impact through programs that support health and leadership throughout Broward County.
Packet pickup will take place November 23 through November 25 at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. Registration and complete event information are available at turkeytrotftl.com.
