Carlos A. Cedeno, M.D., is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist with specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders. Dr. Cedeno earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Este (UCE) in the Dominican Republic. He completed an internal medicine residency at Hospital Municipal de San Juan in Puerto Rico followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Hospital Universitario de Adultos, University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, in San Juan.
Dr. Cedeno’s clinical interests include solid tumor oncology with a focus on breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and thoracic cancers, as well as hematologic malignancies and benign hematology. He also emphasizes supportive and palliative oncology care, as well as multidisciplinary integration to help ensure comprehensive, coordinated treatment for his patients.
