Sara A. Sun, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. An otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon specializing in head and neck cancers and other surgical conditions involving the throat, sinuses, thyroid and salivary glands, Dr. Sun completed advanced fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction at Moffitt Cancer Center, where she also served as a clinical instructor.
Dr. Sun’s expertise includes head and neck tumor removal, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery and microvascular reconstruction to help preserve form and function following cancer treatment. She works closely with specialists across disciplines to develop individualized treatment plans and emphasizes shared decision-making with patients.
