Addition of Jacksonville Beach and Southside Pediatric Care Centers locations strengthens access to coordinated pediatric care across the region.
Jacksonville, Fla., November 2, 2026 – Baptist Health is expanding its pediatric network by welcoming two Jacksonville-area pediatric practices into its health system, strengthening connections between care in the community and the specialized services available through Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the region’s only full-service hospital for children.
Effective Nov. 1, 2026, the Jacksonville Beach and Southside locations of Pediatric Care Centers are now part of Baptist Health, as Baptist Jacksonville Beach Pediatrics and Baptist Southside Pediatrics. The addition reflects Baptist Health’s continued focus on expanding access to high-quality pediatric care and creating a more seamless experience for children and families in Northeast Florida.
“Families should be able to access the care their children need as seamlessly as possible, whether that starts with their pediatrician close to home or requires the specialized resources of Wolfson Children’s Hospital,” said Eric Fletcher, MBA, FACHE, executive vice president and chief strategy officer at Baptist Health. “Bringing these practices into Baptist Health is another step toward building an even more connected pediatric system that can support children and families throughout their care journey.”
Patients will continue to see their same care teams at the existing practice locations:
| Baptist Jacksonville Beach Pediatrics
274 Third Avenue South Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 |
Baptist Southside Pediatrics
8990 RG Skinner Parkway Jacksonville, FL 32256

The acquisition is part of Baptist Health’s broader strategy to strengthen pediatric services across Northeast Florida by better connecting outpatient care in the community with Baptist Health’s broader system of care, including hospital-based pediatric services at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This integrated approach is designed to support greater coordination, improve the patient and family experience and make it easier for families to navigate care as their child’s needs evolve.
The Fleming Island location of Pediatric Care Centers is not part of the acquisition and will continue to operate as a Pediatric Care Centers office.
