Sandra Johnson, director of risk and insurance services for Broward Health, has been awarded the Professional Recognition Award from the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety (FSHRMPS). The award credits individual members who have made significant contributions to the organization, to the profession of health care risk management and to patient safety.Johnson has been a member of FSHRMPS since 1993 and has served in various capacities as a board member, secretary and president. She has also been an active member of the national organization since 1982.
