Neurosurgeon Christopher DeMassi, M.D., has joined Memorial Healthcare System’s Neuroscience Center. In addition, Dr. DeMassi will be part of the hospital’s Level l Trauma Center.Dr. DeMassi has completed his internship in general surgery, a residency in neurological surgery and a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he also completed a master’s degree in science, majoring in physiology and biophysics. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in science in human physiology from Boston University.
