Dr. David W. Moskowitz, MD
Nearly two decades after her initial diagnosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD), Alice’s journey has been one of resilience and hope. Now, at the age of 80, she shares her remarkable story of recovery under the care of Dr. David W. Moskowitz, MD, MA(Oxon.), FACP, a renowned nephrologist, internist, and CEO & Chief Medical Officer of GenoMed, Inc.

Diagnosed with kidney failure in 2005, Alice had endured years of ineffective treatments and worsening health. “For years, I searched for ways to avoid dialysis,” she explains, knowing in her heart that she didn’t want to rely on a machine. In 2017, she also faced bladder cancer, a harrowing experience where doctors recommended the removal of one of her kidneys. Her determination for an alternative to surgery saved her life.
It wasn’t until 2018, after reading the book “How to Avoid Dialysis and Cure Kidney Disease” by one of Dr. Moskowitz’s patients, that Alice reached out to him. With her kidney function severely impaired, Dr. Moskowitz hesitated to take her on, but Alice persisted. “He agreed to work with me and I’m so glad he did,” she recalls. Under Dr. Moskowitz’s care, her kidney function began to stabilize within months. By 2019, her condition had improved so much that Dr. Moskowitz suggested discontinuing their consultations. For the first time in years, Alice felt empowered to manage her health independently.
Dr. Moskowitz, a pioneer in the medical field, has helped numerous patients like Alice avoid dialysis through individualized care. His innovative approach focuses on adjusting medications based on real-time lab results, allowing patients to regain control over their lives. As the CEO & Chief Medical Officer of GenoMed, Inc., Dr. Moskowitz leads a company dedicated to discovering treatments that prevent and cure kidney disease and other chronic conditions.
Alice’s story is not just one of medical recovery, but of personal triumph. Just shy of her 80th birthday, Alice won multiple dance competitions, including a Championship Medal at the Sapphire Dance Sport event in Round Rock, Texas. “I won the Championship Medal for Tango, Foxtrot, and Waltz, and also took first place in Cha-Cha, Rumba, and other styles,” Alice says with pride. She attributes her ability to continue living a fulfilling life to Dr. Moskowitz’s expertise and compassionate care.
“I owe Dr. Moskowitz my deepest gratitude,” Alice says. “He didn’t just give me medical care—he gave me my life back.”
Dr. Moskowitz continues to dedicate his career to helping patients avoid dialysis and live healthier, fuller lives. His work at GenoMed, Inc. reflects his unwavering commitment to transforming the lives of those battling kidney disease and other life-threatening conditions.
