PALM BEACH, FL. JANUARY 11, 2024 – One of the most anticipated events, Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc. Tree Lighting Celebration, ushered in the holiday season with raging success, raising over $900,000 for families facing homelessness in Palm Beach County.

Chaired by Karen Fischer, with Nancy Kyle serving as co-chair, the event began with the tradition of a festive serenade from the voices of The Kings Academy Choir. Once inside, guests were transported to a holiday wonderland as they perused the expansive silent auction featuring the highly sought after orchid display, collection of holiday items and gift baskets, and wine pull raffle where everyone was a winner, as well as an exciting live auction.  Guests also had the opportunity to hear from a previous Adopt-A-Family client as she shared how the organization’s assistance, along with her family’s perseverance and strength, led them to a place of stability and security.

“We are continuously grateful for the individuals, families, and organizations that enable us to help our neighbors,” shared Adopt-A-Family’s CEO Matt Constantine. “This event has been around for nearly as long as our agency and raises critical funds to support those faced with homelessness right here in our community. .”

The holiday celebration culminated with the lighting of the Angel Tree, honoring the donors and partners whose generosity assists hundreds of local families and children each year.

Added Constantine, “What we do is more than a quick solution. We work to provide much-needed housing solutions and wraparound services that change the lives of families experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and place families on the path to stability for future generations. We will continue to do all we can to serve our community.”
