Adrian Laviña, M.D., of Retina Care Specialists has been recognized by the Florida Society of Ophthalmology (FSO) for his outstanding services, leadership qualities, and achievements in retinal care and research and was recently awarded the Outstanding Young Ophthalmologist Leadership Award. The annual award recognizes a Florida-based ophthalmologist younger than 40-years-old, who has demonstrated organizational leadership, service, competence and devotion to the high ethical and professional standards of the FSO.
Dr. Lavina has been in practice for 7 years and is board certified and fellowship trained in diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous, and macula. Currently, Dr. Laviña is serving his second term as President of the Palm Beach County Ophthalmology Society.
