Aetna announced that it has reached agreement with HCA East Florida Division on a three-year contract, renewing its relationship with the organization’s 13 South Florida hospitals and affiliated surgery centers. “The HCA South Florida facilities are very important components of our hospital network,” said Aetna’s Ruth Fricke, head of network operations for Florida. “We’re very happy that our South Florida members will continue to have access to them under a long-term agreement.”

Under the new contract, Aetna members will be able to access HCA South Florida’s facilities for covered in-patient and out-patient services, at in-network rates.
