Earlier this spring, Mount Sinai began integrating a new virtual nursing program into 160 inpatient rooms across their Miami Beach campus through a smart hospital platform known as Artisight. Artisight’s Smart Hospital Platform is an advanced computer-vision technology, paired with a nursing command center, that allows the Mount Sinai’s care teams to monitor patients remotely around the clock. The platform empowers staff to engage proactively and leverage AI to be aware of and stop incidents, such as falls, before they occur.

Additionally, the command center provides real-time audio and video capabilities, allowing physicians and nurses to quickly address patient questions and needs. Artisight also helps nurses execute critical tasks like discharge planning, admission assessments, and documentation, freeing up floor nurses to focus on delivering direct patient care.
