• Offers state-of-the-art software
  • Program extends reach throughout the state of Florida
  • Affords patients greater convenience
  • Provides physicians greater control over process and enhanced payment option

The American Association of Dispensing Practitioners (AADP), the Florida-based professional membership organization launched in 2005 to support physicians who provide in-office dispensing of medications to their patients, has launched a new proprietary software program that enhances physicians’ ability to provide better patient care.

The state-of-the-art DXRX product, which has been installed in member offices, offers total transparency and features the following:

  • Provides faster and simpler system.
  • Allows physician ability to look up online what has been dispensed, how much each drug sold for, what has been paid, and what is pending.
  • Maintains inventory.
  • Tracks users entering the system.
  • Allows participation in a program providing payment of 80% of the amount adjudicated within 48 hours with balance paid as collected.

Says Gary Brown, CEO of AADP, “The benefits to our physicians with this system are tremendous. Now we are able to quickly adjudicate claims and to process Medicaid payments. Our member physicians can track what’s happening with their patients, and they can get paid in a timely fashion.”

AADP has combined medical knowledge, state-of-the-art technology, and hands-on customer service to create a system that enables physicians to fill their patients’ prescriptions in their office at the time of their visit. The system affords patients the convenience of one-stop shopping and a private setting in which to discuss medical questions. It gives physicians greater control over the prescribing process, helping to reduce prescription errors and ensure greater compliance.

AADP serves member physicians throughout the state, from Miami to Jacksonville, and from Tampa and Fort Myers on the west coast, to Orlando and Lakeland.
