BOCA RATON, FL – March 27, 2024  Board-certified family-medicine physician Andrew William Schwartz, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. He provides comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages – from babies to the elderly. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, he provides preventive care, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. His clinical interests include mental health, orthopedic and spinal injuries, diabetes and hypertension.

Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care, Dr. Schwartz was a family medicine physician at Sylvan Medical Center, a high-volume outpatient clinic in Alberta, Canada.

Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies, and completed a residency in family medicine at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, W.V. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Patient visits with Dr. Schwartz are comprehensive with a focus on preventive care. “I take time to thoroughly review lab results and diagnostic images with my patients to ensure that they fully understand the areas of concern and treatment plan,” Dr. Schwartz said.
