Dr. Lonar Tony Umadhay, Director and Assistant Professor of Barry University’s Anesthesiology program, was recently named Associated Dean for Academic Affairs for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

 

Originally from the Philippines, Dr. Umadhay completed his undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He obtained his Master of Science in nursing degree from Florida International University and his Doctorate in Philosophy from Barry University.

 

Dr. Umadhay was past president of the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists and served on the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
