David A. Thompson, M.D., FACEP, has recently been appointed Chief Medical Officer for Apollo Information Services, Inc. (AIS), a medical billing and technology company wholly-owned by Emergency Consultants, Inc. (ECI), Ft. Myers, FL. In this position, Dr. Thompson will serve as the principal physician resource for AIS.

He will also continue as ECI’s Chief Information Officer. In addition to serving as Medical Director for an ECI-affiliated partnership, he has been a member of ECI’s Technology Committee, Quality Management Committee and a variety of ad-hoc committees.
