Atrus, Inc., owners of the National AED Registry™ announced the completion of a customized version of its registry for the Orange County (Florida) EMS Office of the Medical Director. The registry is at https://orangecountyfl.nationalaedregistry.com/.
The Orange County AED Registry is part of an overall program to educate and inform citizens about Sudden Cardiac Arrest, CPR and the importance of publicly accessible Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). This registry is free to AED owners and will be a source for regular email reminders to periodically check the device to ensure it is in working order. Registered sites will also be reminded to replace soon-to-expire electrode pads and batteries.
