Kevin E. Mnich, MSN, RN, LSSGB, recently joined Broward Health Imperial Point as Director of Behavioral Health Services, where he oversees nursing, case management, social work, utilization review and therapy services.

A strategy-focused healthcare leader with more than 20 years of acute care experience, Mnich is recognized for building high-performing teams, strengthening physician relationships and fostering a culture of collaboration and staff engagement. Passionate about continuous improvement, he leads initiatives that enhance quality, patient safety, financial performance and the patient experience while supporting staff satisfaction and professional growth.

He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of New Jersey.



Geisy Roca, MSN, FNP-C, AAPRN, serves as director of nursing for MedSurg/Telemetry Services in the Central Tower at Memorial Hospital West. Inspired to develop people and empower teams, she believes strong leadership creates the foundation for exceptional patient outcomes.

Roca encourages emerging healthcare leaders to lead with humility, remain curious and never stop investing in people. “Take the time to listen, seek feedback and learn from every experience,” Roca said.

Among her proudest accomplishments is implementing highly reliable care processes that helped sustain exceptionally low healthcare-associated infection rates, including zero infections in most units for more than 12 consecutive months.

Roca focuses on building a culture of trust, accountability and continuous learning while developing future leaders and supporting high-performing teams. As healthcare continues to evolve, she believes one of the greatest challenges is building and sustaining a resilient workforce while adapting to advancing technology and rising patient expectations.



Christina Sierra-Maurici, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, has spent more than 13 years growing alongside Catholic Health Services, advancing from Licensed Practical Nurse to Hospital Administrator through a career defined by clinical excellence and decisive leadership. Her experience spans case management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, infection prevention, nursing leadership, and hospital administration, giving her a rare perspective on every stage of the patient’s journey.

Today, Christina leads St. Catherine’s West, a 40-bed acute rehabilitation hospital, where she focuses on strengthening clinical quality, patient safety, and operational performance while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Her leadership has helped build an environment in which accountability, innovation, and compassionate care go hand in hand.

Committed to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals, Christina invests in mentoring emerging leaders and empowering caregivers to reach their highest potential. As the new Medical Director of Hematology-Oncology at Broward Health Medical Center, Simon Blanc, M.D., leads with a commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration and education.

Triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, Dr. Blanc actively mentors the next generation of physicians through Broward Health’s Graduate Medical Education residency and fellowship programs. Fluent in Arabic and French, he is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient centered cancer care to South Florida’s diverse community.

“Leadership in medicine begins with listening,” said Dr. Blanc. “By empowering our teams, embracing innovation and never losing sight of what’s best for our patients, we create an environment where both caregivers and those we serve can thrive.”

Dr. Blanc earned his medical degree through a joint program between Université Saint Esprit de Kaslik in Lebanon and Faculté François Rabelais de Tours in France.



Sheri Montgomery is the CEO of Good Samaritan Medical Center with over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience with an extensive background in hospital operational, financial and strategic excellence. She is leading the development of the next-generation, Center of Excellence on the existing Good Samaritan Campus, which will focus on healthcare, longevity and wellness in downtown West Palm Beach.

The Center of Excellence is envisioned as a catalyst for a stronger and more comprehensive healthcare ecosystem. It plans to enhance services in advanced cardiac care, cancer care, neurosciences, surgical capabilities and more.

Before being appointed as CEO for Good Samaritan Medical Center, she served as the Group CFO for the Palm Beach Health Network. Over her many years with Tenet Healthcare, Montgomery has proven herself through a variety of leadership roles, including CFO of Delray Medical Center and Coral Gables Hospital.

Montgomery is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree before completing her Master of Business Administration in Finance at Nova Southeastern University.
