November 5 2020 – North Shore Medical Center is recognized by the Healthy Start Coalition of Miami-Dade in the areas of maternal, infant and child health for offering healthy start postnatal risk screens to infants, and obtaining 95% or higher consent rate in 2018 and 2019. “The Mother Baby Team deserves to be recognized for their commitment and dedication to care for the babies in our community,” said Mark Racicot, hospital CEO  “We thank them all for their service.” 

November 6, 2020 – Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced the appointment of Saum Sutaria, M.D., the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. This appointment expands the Board to include 11 directors.

November 6, 2020 – Alison Schneider, MD, a gastroenterologist at Cleveland Clinic Weston, was elected President of the Florida Gastroenterologic Society (FGS) during the organization’s 55th Annual Meeting held recently.
