Inona Pierre is a nurse on the orthopedic, VIP and detox department floor at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Inona became a nurse after seeing her grandmother very sick and feeling helpless because she could not do anything to help her. Inona promised herself she would become a nurse so she could help care for those who could not care for themselves.

Kaitlyn Tama has been working in the cardiac stepdown unit at Delray Medical Center since 2019. Kaitlyn became a nurse because of her mother who also is a nurse. She says she loves helping people, and that inspired her into nursing too. One memory that stands out to Kaitlyn, is the time when she cared for a patient who was sick with COVID for months.
