The Aventura Comprehensive Cancer Center is pleased to announce the arrival of Carlos A. Lopez, M.D., to the medical staff. As a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Lopez joins a comprehensive team of specialists at the Cancer Center and brings a wealth of expertise to assist in the battle against cancer.
Dr. Carlos Lopez earned his Medical Doctor degree from the New York University School of Medicine after graduating magna cum laude in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He completed a General Surgery Internship at the University of Chicago and then completed his Radiation Oncology Residency at the University of Michigan where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident.
