Aventura Hospital and Medical Centers Chief Executive Officer Heather J. Rohan recently announced the appointment of Yolanda Douthard as Director of Pharmacy for the 407-bed private facility.
Douthard joins Aventura Hospital from her most recent position as a Director of Pharmacy Department at Coral Gables Hospital in Coral Gables, FL. Douthard previously worked at Prince Georges Hospital Center in Cheverly, MD.
Douthard completed her Bachelors of Science Degree on Pharmacy, Chemistry and Spanish at Howard University in Washington, D.C. After graduation, she immediately entered into and completed her residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, where she also earned an MBA degree in 1995 from the University of Baltimore in Baltimore, MD.
