Baptist Hospital has named Sherrill Hudson to its Board of Trustees.

 

Hudson is chairman of the board of Tampa-based TECO Energy. He previously served as the company’s executive chairman, chairman and CEO. From 1965 to 2002, he was at Deloitte Touche LLP, where he spent 19 years as managing partner for its South Florida offices.

 

In addition to his role on the Baptist Hospital board, Hudson serves on the boards of Publix Supermarkets, Lennar Corporation, United Insurance Holdings Corporation and Itopia, Inc. He is a past president and current member of the Orange Bowl Committee, past chair of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and Florida International University Foundation, and past president of the Zoological Society of Florida.
