Carol McDermott, R.N., of Medical Arts Surgery Center at Baptist was named Baptist Outpatient Services Nurse of the Year.

McDermott is a seasoned operating room nurse who has worked at Medical Arts Surgery Center at Baptist for nine years. “My interaction with patients and families is the best part of my day. The interaction with my co-workers is also very rewarding,” McDermott said. “And, it’s all worth it when you get a warm ‘thanks’ for a job well done.”
