April 21, 2025, West Palm Beach, FL—Beachway Therapy Center, a nationally recognized provider of specialized trauma care and substance abuse treatment, with locations in West Palm Beach, FL and Princeton, NJ, has announced an expansion of its team. Devora Shabtai, LCSW, MSc, and PhD candidate, has been named Director of Specialty Programming.

Shabtai has a wealth of experience in addiction treatment, spiritual and religious trauma, and clinical program design. She has co-authored peer-reviewed articles and book chapters exploring the intersection of Judaism and psychological well-being and has been featured on several podcasts involving the topic of faith and recovery.

“Beachway offers specialized programming for veterans, first responders, and individuals from a variety of religious communities,” said Shabtai. “While clients are all members of the broader treatment community, our specialty programs are designed to provide optional spaces for clients to connect with others who share their unique cultural or professional backgrounds.”

Each specialty program at Beachway is designed with both a deep understanding of clinical practice and a keen awareness of the specific cultural or spiritual needs of each population. The center’s treatment programs weave in unique cultural aspects to the overall recovery process, ensuring clients receive individualized support while remaining a part of a unified, diverse treatment community.
