Bethesda is pleased to announce Joy McCarty, R.N., as the new director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and the Telemetry Unit at Bethesda Heart Institute. Prior to her promotion, McCarty served as the Clinical Manager for Bethesda’s Telemetry Unit.

McCarty has a wealth of experience in cardiac and critical care having previously worked for the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, the Presbyterian Hospital and the Carolinas Medical Center, both located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
