After conducting an extensive search, Bethesda Healthcare System has named Louis D. Snyder, M.D., to be Medical Director of the new Bethesda Heart Institute. Dr. Snyder is an Interventional Cardiologist and Senior Managing Partner of The Cardiology Center Professional Association (CCPA).

Dr. Snyder earned his Medical Degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He was a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, as well as a Clinical & Research Fellow in Cardiology at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Snyder is Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), as well as the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention (FSCAI).
