April 20, 2022 Below Deck’s Bravo TV Star Captain Lee Rosbach will lead a series of upscale fundraising events under the Waterway Soiree- banner for Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC), a facility of Broward Health that serves more than 10,000 children with special needs by providing comprehensive prevention, intervention and treatment services.

Captain Lee, who also serves as a CDTC board member, will spearhead a new team-style fundraising campaign beginning with the “Captain’s Crew,” which has raised more than $50,000 for CDTC to support children with special healthcare needs. Every crew member who signs up to join receives a personal fundraising page to ask friends and colleagues to make a gift. Those who reach more than $1,300 in donations will be promoted to Senior Crew Members and meet Captain Lee at the Waterway Soirée Dock & Dash, the next event on the schedule.

The Waterway Soirée Dock & Dash is a luxury dockside cocktail party and silent auction from 6pm-8pm on Saturday, May 21 at Pier Sixty-Six Marina amid Fort Lauderdale’s most impressive superyachts. Tickets are $135. The silent auction will be live online prior to the event with one of the coveted auction items, dinner for 10 after the reception on May 21 aboard the 223-foot superyacht Aviva that will be awarded to the highest bidder.

“Our waterway and marine-themed way of life are what’s made Fort Lauderdale so famous for its splendor as the playground of the world,” Captain Lee said. “The CDTC Dock & Dash and all of the events we have planned will be fun, exciting, and engaging. The best part is that we are raising funds for the children and families in our community who need it most.”

This year’s Soirée events will continue throughout the summer with the return of the Dinner Series, where a host can have an intimate gourmet dinner and wine party for up to eight aboard a luxury yacht.

“It’s been a challenging two years with limited events and we are so excited to have such a robust summer of activities,” said Ana Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D. executive director at CDTC. “We appreciate all that Capt. Lee does for us, and welcome all who want to enjoy all of these high-profile events as sponsors and guests to support our children and families we serve.”
