Heather R. Wright, M.D., a board-certified general surgeon specializing in breast cancer surgery, is now part of the Memorial Cancer Institute’s Division of Breast Surgical Oncology.
Most recently, Dr. Wright served as director of the Comprehensive Breast Care at the Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1999, and completed her residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in 2004. She completed her fellowship in breast oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2005.
