The Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency recently awarded Broward General Medical Center (BGMC) a Hospital Achievement Award for its attainment of a 76 percent donation rate during 2008.

According to Life Alliance, Luminare Awards are meant to recognize of those who, in performance of their routine duties, provide leadership and inspiration to others through their tireless and selfless efforts to save lives through organ donation and transplantation.
