The 16th annual Broward Health Charitable Golf Tournament, held at the Tournament Players Club at Heron Bay, Coral Springs, netted $120,000. Proceeds from the 16th annual tournament will benefit Coral Springs Medical Centers Pediatric Emergency Department expansion. The estimated $17.9 million expansion of the adult and pediatric emergency department is slated to begin at the end of 2008 and will more than double the emergency department in size.
