Gerald Salamone and Roberta Verville, of Broward Health’s office of Compliance and Ethics, recently completed the requirements to become certified in Health Care Compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association.

Prior to joining Broward Health, Salamone was director of corporate compliance and patient privacy at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. His finance background also included the position of controller with Orange Regional Medical Center.

Most recently, Verville was the director of compliance & privacy officer for Sheridan Healthcorp, Inc. Prior to that, she was the director of the corporate compliance program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and was the former director of regulatory affairs at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
