January 19, 2026 – Broward Health honors the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his enduring message of unity, respect and uplifting others.

During a 1968 sermon, Dr. King shared the now-iconic words, “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” The message remains a powerful reminder that greatness is defined by our service to others.

Whether through compassionate care, teamwork or the small moments that make a difference, each of us can carry forward Dr. King’s legacy of service every day.

In recognition of this legacy, staff from Broward Health North proudly participated in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in Deerfield Beach.
