Thomas Kester has been promoted to Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Operating Officer for Broward Health Imperial Point. Tom has 20+ years of professional experience; serving as BHIP’s Regional Director of Surgical Services since 2010 where he successfully supervised multiple service lines including the O.R., Outpatient Surgery Center, Same Day Surgery, PACU, GI Center, and Interventional Radiology.
Tom received his BSN from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC in 1984 and his MSN from the University of Phoenix in 2005. Most recently he is working towards his Doctorate in Nursing Leadership from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
