June 10 2022 – Broward Health Medical Center recently received re-certification from the QOPI® Certification Program, LLC. The certification will continue to enhance the hospital’s outpatient hematology-oncology practices that meet a nationwide recognition for high-quality cancer care.

“Broward Health Medical Center is committed to providing transformative care for our patients who are undergoing cancer treatment,” said Heather Havericak, CEO of the hospital. “The QOPI® Certification will continue to allow us to have a positive impact in the care our multidisciplinary team provides.”

The QOPI® Certification Program for outpatient oncology practices is the first and the largest oncology association in United States. In 2016 the program also expanded internationally.

Broward Health Medical Center first achieved the certification in 2015. The hospital successfully met an assessment that is consistent with national guidelines during the re-certification process.
