Pauline Grant, CEO of Broward Health North (BHN), was named one of South Florida’s 50 Most Powerful Black Professionals in Business and Industry for 2014 by Legacy Magazine.Grant has more than 35 years of healthcare experience, recently celebrating eleven years as chief executive officer of BHN.
Previously, she was named one of the “2012 Top 10 Most Powerful Women in Health Care” by Health Exec News, awarded the “2009 Jamaican Milestone Award” for excellence in healthcare and named of the “2008 Top 25 Minority Executives” by Modern Healthcare magazine.
She was born in Jamaica, received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, and then received her Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Davie.
