Florida Blue has announced a finalized agreement between Broward Health and Florida Blue Medicare, Health Options, Inc., Medicare Advantage plan, to provide primary care network services for their Medicare HMO members in Broward County.

 

Florida Blue’s Health Option product provides an alternative to traditional Medicare beneficiaries and offers additional benefits for Medicare members through more affordable out-of-pocket costs, depending on the patient’s specific healthcare needs.

 

This collaborative care approach will allow physicians throughout the Broward Health Physician Group and Broward Health’s Community Health Services to focus even more on preventative services for patients. This will improve the cost, quality and access to healthcare through the use of primary care physicians.
