In efforts to improve BHN’s Door to IVtPA times for brain attacks, the Brain Attack team administered IVtPA to a patient arriving with acute stroke symptoms in 15 minutes. On Friday, June 24, BHN held a celebration to acknowledge all of the hard work and processes to decrease door to needle time as part of the American Heart Association Target Stroke Initiative which is less than 45 minutes.
