Broward Health Director of Sports Medicine and Wellness Frank Walters, PhD, LAT, ATC, has been elected vice president of the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) Board of Directors.Walters, a BOC certified athletic trainer since 1977, has a long history with BOC. He has been on the BOC Board of Directors since July 2009 and served as a BOC qualified examiner and model from 1991 to 2001. He was inducted into the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s Hall of Fame on June 24, 2010.
