Robert Singal, M.D., has 30 years of experience in cardiology and serves as medical director of the Broward Health Coral Springs cardiac catheterization laboratory.
“While doing an internship, I became fascinated by the heart and circulatory system and the critical care aspects of cardiology,” Dr. Singal said. “I felt like I was able to practice multiple aspects of medicine through one specialty.”
He oversees cases and reviews them for quality and National Cardiovascular Data Registry metrics, and he also helps expand the cardiac service line with new therapies and through teaching and community outreach.
“My daily motivation is the desire to help people,” Dr. Singal said. “There is no better feeling than saving a patient from something that could have harmed them immensely.”
Dr. Singal earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Jackson Health System.
