Erik Beyer, MD
Dr. Erik Beyer, cardiothoracic surgeon, recently joined the medical staff at Florida Medical Center and plays a crucial role in expanding the hospital’s minimally invasive cardiac surgery program. He has been practicing cardiac surgery for more than 20 years. Dr. Beyer attended medical school at the University of Tennessee. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Texas and his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Beyer later completed his fellowship, specializing in cardiac transplant and assist device, at Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin in Germany and the Texas Heart Institute.
Neil I. Galindez, MDDr. Neil Galindez is on staff at Florida Medical Center and he is an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon with expertise in open and minimally invasive surgery for atrial fibrillation (Afib) and heart valve surgery. In addition, Dr. Galindez specializes in videoscopic assisted thoracic surgery, percutaneous valve surgery (TAVR), temporary and long term mechanical circulatory support and surgical coronary revascularization. Dr. Galindez attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas and he did his residency at Morristown Memorial Medical Center.
