Carlos Garcia, Esq., an attorney in private practice specializing in the areas of transactional real estate and financial consulting in Miami, has been named to the Doctors Hospital Board of Directors.

Garcia received his B.S. degree with a major in Political Science from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. While a student at Georgetown, he served as a legislative intern for then Senator Lawton Chiles. Garcia then obtained his J.D. degree from the University of Miami. While at the University of Miami, he participated in an internship for Justice Gerald Kogan, who later served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Florida.

Garcia serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of International Finance Bank and is on the Executive Committee of the Beacon Council.
