Genesis Fuste began her career in case management in 2020 and has more recently been promoted to leadership positions, first as a manager of the department last year and now as its interim director.

“I’m excited to leverage my experience and leadership skills to drive improvements in patient care, streamline operations, and foster a collaborative and engaged team environment,” said Fuste. “The chance to lead a department at this scale offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on facilitating hospital-wide initiatives, including improving patient flow, reducing readmission rates, and enhancing overall care coordination.”

Fuste is focused on mentoring and supporting her team while fostering a culture of learning and development. She has also embraced the strategic nature of the director’s position, which enables her to work with senior hospital leadership to shape and implement key initiatives that affect the entire organization.
