Mount Sinai Medical Center has named Robert Goldszer M.D., M.B.A., senior vice president and chief medical officer. Dr. Goldszer joins Mount Sinai from Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA, where he served as Associate Chief Medical Officer and Director of Primary Care.
Project Access, the Palm Beach County Medical Society Services initiative that provides free healthcare to the uninsured, paid tribute to the outstanding contributions of physicians and hospital providers at a recent celebration at the Palm Beach Zoo.
Michael Lakow, M.D., and Jane Lamp, M.D., were recognized as Medical Physicians of the Year. Douglas Dedo, M.D., and Malcom Dorman, M.D., received the honor of Surgical Physicians of the Year. JFK Medical Center and University MRI were recognized as Providers of the Year. Marie Gottfried, R.N., was honored for her outstanding service to the program.

Jeffrey P. Freimark has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital.
The numbers are in. The latest federal reports show Memorial Healthcare System hospitals surpass the national, state and local averages in quality care. Memorial hospitals also surpass the national averages in patient satisfaction and are notably higher in ranking when compared with other hospitals in South Florida.

Richard L. Cosnotti, former Senior Philanthropic Advisor and Interim Dean of the Office of Resource Development at Harvard Medical School, was named President and Chief Executive Officer of the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Jupiter Medical Center.
