The Nominating Committee of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce has nominated Baptist Health President and CEO, A. Hugh Greene, FACHE, to be Chamber chair in 2011. Following election by the Chambers board of directors, Greene will begin his duties as chair-elect in January 2010.
For the Palm Beach County communities bordering Lake Okeechobee, October 15th was a momentous day as Lakeside Medical Center, the new hospital constructed by the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, officially opened to the public. Lakeside Medical Center replaces Glades General Hospital which closed its doors after more than 60 years of service.

Columbia Hospital is proud to announce the addition of Adesoji A. Adenigbagbe, M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Adenigbagbe is an Intensivist, which means he is a physician who has received training in critical care beyond his primary residency. Dr. Adenigbagbe received his medical degree from Ogun State University in Nigeria and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He also completed a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care from Maimonides Medical Center.
