Debbie Mulvihill has joined Baptist Health South Florida as corporate vice president and chief nursing officer. Mulvihill formerly served as CEO for eight years at Coral Springs Medical Center. She brings to Baptist Health broad experience in both the clinical and operational side of healthcare. She has served as a staff nurse, nurse manager, clinical nurse specialist, chief nursing officer and chief operating officer.



Gayle Gibson, RN, BSN, CNOR, CRNFA, at Lower Keys Medical Center has recently earned her Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) credentialing.

Gibson assists surgeons in the operating department of the hospitals four leading-edge, multi-million dollar surgical suites. Her career as a nurse started in the late 1960’s when she graduated nursing school in Plainfield, NJ. She moved to the Florida Keys in the 1980’s and began practicing at LKMC. She is currently on the hospitals medical staff as an Affiliate member.



St. Mary’s and Good Samaritan Medical Centers announced that Jeffrey Bonomo has been named Physician Practice Manager. Bonomo has eight years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle and process improvements. Most recently, he was an operations consultant for Tenet HealthCare Corporation’s Commitment to Quality team.



North Shore Medical Center and Tenet Healthcare Foundation recently honored Maria Wilson, R.N., employee health nurse and educator, by donating $500 to her charity of choice, American Cancer Society – Miami-Dade County Unit.

Wilson served as a nurse manager before being appointed employee health nurse and educator. She chose the American Cancer Society as her charity of choice because of the support and assistance the cancer society has given to her family members stricken with cancer.



Palm Springs Vice-Mayor Bev Smith recently joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the organization’s newest office located in Palm Springs and serving the greater Lake Worth area. Hospice of Palm Beach County’s Chief Operating Officer Terri Guzman joined the Vice-Mayor in cutting the ceremonial red ribbon. “Hospice of Palm Beach County is there for patients and families,” said Guzman. “This office will enable our staff to work more closely with patients and families, because they’ll now be based in the neighborhoods and communities which they ultimately serve.”
